Glen passed away in a car accident on April 5, 1980 at the age of 18. He missed his high school graduation by two months. He had signed up for the US Marine Corps in the Delayed Entry Program where he would report to basic training at Parris Island, SC, after high school graduation. His funeral mass was held at St. Joseph's Church in Pascoag, RI, and he had a USMC honor guard.
