News Death Notice

PARRISH, Carrie Imogene K. of Enon, passed on May 19, 2012 at the age of 94. She was born in Marshall, Illinois to Clinton and Cora Kraemer on July 10, 1917. Imy is survived by her husband, Paul of 76 years, and daughters; Martha Bloom of Warrenton, Virginia, Fran (Dale) Henry, Betty Betscher (Gene Rahrig), Nancy (Larry) Grube all of Enon, eight grandchildren, Joe (Susan) Bloom, John (Christine) Bloom, Lisa (Jeff) Hunter, David (Brandi) Henry, Leslie (Grant) Bates, Dan (Jennifer) Grube, Brian (Diane) Grube, Cyndee (Brian) Vass, 16 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Clyde and Carl Kraemer, a sister, Bea Sheeler, and a son in law, Mike Bloom. Imogene was very active over the years with the Enon United Methodist Church, teaching Sunday School, VBS, youth leader, WSCS, in the Rebecca Circle and cooking the beans for the Enon Apple Butter Festival. She was 4-H and Girl Scout leaders for years. She was a member of the Enon Keenagers Club, and Elderly United where Paul and Imy were honored as Clark County Fair's Golden Anniversary King and Queen in 2006. She will be greatly missed by her family. They would like to express gratitude for the special care given by the Enon United Methodist Church Family, Southbrook Care Center, Emeritus at Fox Run and Acclaim Hospice Group during the past five and one half years during Imogene's illness. The family will receive friends in Adkins Funeral Home, Enon, OH Thursday May 24th from 5-7pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Enon United Methodist Church May 25th at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations by be made in Imogene's name to the Enon United Methodist Church, 85 Broadway Road, Enon, OH 45323.
