Sister Alice M. Truitt

Sister Alice Marie (Parham) Truitt was born January 31, 1944 in La Grange, Georgia to the late Albert Lee Parham and Beatrice Parham. She received her formal education through the Indianapolis Public School System.
Alice met and married the love of her life, Mr. Willie Morris and they were united in holy matrimony on July 10,1962 in La Grange, Georgia. To this union was born four children: Stacy Truitt (deceased), Willie Morris Truitt, Jr., Sharon Mason and Malinda Truitt, and one adopted daughter, Meire Thomas.
Alice was a Licensed Practical Nurse/Qualified Medical Aide at various medical facilities. She retired in 1981 from the Fairfield Nursing Home in Indianapolis,Indiana.
In 1985, Sister Truitt was baptized in Jesus' Name and received the precious gift of the Holy Ghost at Faith Temple Pentecostal Church, under the pastorage of Bishop Robert C. Cosby and Dr. Rosemary "Mama" Cosby, where she remained a member until her passing.
Sister Truitt served on the Usher Board and loved to help with the children at the Daycare. Sister Truitt loved Faith Temple Church.
Sister Truitt departed this life on Friday, March 31, 2006 at the age of 62 years, and 2 months. She will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Lee and Beatrice Parham, and her daughter, Stacy Truitt.
Sister Alice Marie Truitt leaves to cherish her memory, her loving and devoted husband, Willie Morris; one sister, Margaret Gates of La Grange, Georgia; her son, Willie Morris Truitt, Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana, three daughters, Sharon (Willie) Mason of Dublin, Georgia, Malinda Truitt and Meire Thomas both of Indianapolis, Indiana; nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, the Faith Temple Pentecostal Church Family, and many other relatives and friends.
