Funeral services for Mrs. Arthur
(Sylvia Davis) Sapp Sr., 90, 207 Grady
St., Dublin, will be held Friday at 4 p.m.
in the New Bethel Baptist Church. The
Rev. Jack Sapp and the Rev. Bob
Carlton will officiate. Burial will be In
the church cemetery."
Mrs. Sapp died Wednesday in a local
nursing home after being in declining
health for several years. A native of
Laurens County, she was as the daughter
of the late King David and Jennie
Woodard Davis and the wife of the late
Arthur Sapp Sr. She was a member of
the Dublin Baptist Temple.
The body will lie in state at Adams
Funeral Home until 3 p.m. Friday when
it will be placed in the church to remain
until the funeral hour..
