E. L. Garmon Dies in His 73d Year
Last Rites for Native of Fulton Will Be Conducted Today
E. L.. Garmon, 72, died Wednesday morning at his residence on Perkerson road.
A native of Fulton county, Mr. Garmon had lived here all his life and had been an employe (sic) of the county for the past 35 years.
Surviving are his wife; five daughters, Mrs. Pearl Lawson, Mrs. J. R. Porter, of Charlotte, N.C.; Miss Billie Garmon, Mrs. B. D. Stanton, of Jacksonville, Fla., and Mrs. T. Z. Carter, of Greenville, S.C.; four sons, O. E. Garmon, E. A. Ward, O. F. Ward and J. H. Martin, of Greenville, S.C.; one sister, Mrs. B. F. Hilderbrand, and several grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon at Spring Hill by the Rev. Paul A. Turner and the Rev. W. Lee Cutts. Burial will be in West View cemetery under the direction of H. M. Patterson & Son.
