Edna June Reed, 74 years, of Mayview, Missouri died Tuesday November 27, 2012 at St Mary's Manor in Blue Springs, Missouri.
Edna was born March 12, 1938 in Wainwright, Missouri, a daughter of Ira Joseph and Nancy (Davis) Brandenburg.
In 1971 Edna was united in marriage, in Kansas City, Missouri, to John Reed who survives at their home.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include one son, Ira Edward Linze of Blue Springs, Missouri; three granddaughters, Michelle McGrail, Angela Fordham, Bethany Parks all of Blue Springs, Missouri; four great-grandchildren, Derek Allgood, Charie Gral, Shelby Fordham, Lilly Fordham all of Blue Springs, Missouri; two brothers, Robert Bradenburg of Texas and Bill Brandenburg of Centerview, Missouri
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Jimmy and Tom Brandenburg; sisters, Betty Robinett, Irene Jinson and Emma Lee Reed.
Friends will be received from 1:00-2:00p.m. Friday November 30, 2012 at the Slater Millard Family Funeral Home, Holts Summit where funeral services will be held at 2:00p.m. Private family interment will follow in the Mt Carmel Cemetery near Fulton.
