Hawkins Howard J. "Curly" Hawkins, age 87, lifetime resident of Minneapolis, died August 30, 2005.

Preceded in death by wife, Helen; brother, Kent. Survived by children, Sandra (Tom) Rempfer, Howard "Butch" (Mary), Nancy (Craig) Larrivee, John (Annette); 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Johnson; brothers, Warren (Pat), Bob (Doris).

Howard was founder of Hawkins Chemical. He was blessed by a strong faith, loved God, his family and friends, his work and his country. He will be missed by many.

Special thank you to the staff and especially the nurses and aides at Jones-Harrison for their loving care.

Memorials preferred to Union Congregational Church or Jones-Harrison Residence, 3700 Cedar Lake Ave., Mpls., 55416.

Memorial service 3:00 PM Wed., Sept. 7, 2005 at Union Congregational Church, 3700 Alabama Ave., St. Louis Park, with visitation one hour prior to service at the church. Private interment. Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel 952-920-3996
