Carol Irene Brado, 76, of Lachine, Michigan, formerly of Posen, died Wednesday October 19, 2011 at home following a brief illness.
Carol Welling was born April 29, 1935 in Wolverine, MI to Clifford Welling and Helen (Deyarmond) Welling. She married Robert Brado on September 4, 1954. He preceded her in death on September 19, 2003.
Carol Brado was a member of Leer Lutheran Church and a life member of the Order of Eastern Star. Surviving are her children; Susan (Walter) Jackowiak, Donald (Gail) Brado both of Lachine, Cheryl Foster of Indian River, MI, eight grandchildren; Bob (Laurie) Jackowiak, Krystal (David) Ratliff, Jim Brado, Jennifer Brado, Bill Brado, Karen (Chris) Seavey, Becky Freske, Alan Freske, three great-grandchildren; Miya Brado, Joey Brado, Brock Seavey, a very special cousin whom shared a life-long bond with Carol, Elsie Konopaski of Vanderbilt, MI and a sister-in-law, Marian Henry of St. Thomas, Ontario.
