John C. Heck, 59, New Albany, died at 5:30 a.m. Saturday at his residence.
He was a native of Madison and was a retired stockbroker. He had worked for the J.C. Bradford Company in Louisville, He was a member of the Highland Presbyterian Church of Louisville, Union Lodge #2 F. & A.M., Madison Elks Lodge, and was a World War II Navy veteran.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Virginia T. Heck, Madison; one brother, Richard T. Heck, Hanover; one sister, Mrs. Nancy Loreaux, Cincinnati; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard C. Heck, in 1967.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Vail-Holt Funeral Home Madison Chapel with burial in Springdale Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 until 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. tomorrow.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Madison Presbyterian Church or the American Cancer Society.
