Nondes M. Aldred

ALBION -- Nondes M. Aldred, 84, of Route 1, County Road 400 E., died at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at McCray Hospital, Kendallville, of an illness. Mrs. Aldred was born June 5, 1899, in Liberty Center, Ind. On June 24, 1926, in Buckeye, Ind., she married Eldon Aldred, who survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Phyllis Schaffer of Carmel, Ind.; two sons, Daniel of Fort Wayne and George of Shoals, Ind.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was a retired school teacher from the Albion Elementary School. She was a member of the Prentiss Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Extension Homemakers Club and the Albion City Club.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Asbury United Methodist Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Huntington County. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Brazzell Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
