Joan Ersula Helmick Doty was surrounded by her children as she peacefully passed away, on November 26, 2012. She was 74 years old.
Born in Delta, Colorado to John E. Helmick and Opal G. Helmick on May 12, 1938. She graduated from high school in 1956 shortly after moving to SLC, UT. Where she married Alger M. Meadowcroft "Al". Here she had four children.
She is survived by two daughters and two sons. Paula (Brad) Mogensen, Kelly (Jude), Dan, Rick, her seven grandchildren T'Lesa, Brooke, Natasha, Nathan, Alyssa, Rico, Spencer, and two great grandchildren Cayden and Ava.
She retired from Littons Guidance & Control Systems after 20 years of service.
Big thank you to Woodland Park Care Center and Bristol Hospice for all the loving care they gave to her.
"Joni" will be dearly missed by all that knew her, but we know she will be watching over us.
