Obituary from the Everett WA Daily Herald, Wed. April 9, 1958:
"Josephine I. Davis
Mrs. Josephine I. Davis, 82, Rt. 4 Everett, died at her home Wednesday morning. She was born January 25, 1876 in Kansas and had been a resident of Everett since 1915. She is survived by her husband, William t. Davis of Rt. 4 Everett; on daughter, Mrs. Velma Priddy of Olympia; two sons, Harold Davis and Stanley Davis, both living in Fairbanks, Alaska; one brother, Frank Peterson of Springfield, Colo., six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. funerla services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock in the chapel of Challacombe-Fickel and Precht. The Rev. Carlton Goodwin of First Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the family plot in Evergreen Cemetery."
