Harry Alexander Barclay, 79, of Clarkson died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at Norton Hospital in Louisville.

He was born Aug. 30, 1933, in Franklin County, Ill., the son of William and Geneva Ebbs Barclay. He was a Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, a process engineer for Shell Chemical, and a member of American Legion Post 81.

Survivors include, a son, Duane Barcaly (Christie) Sr., of Clarkson; a daughter, Robbin (Joe) Anderson of Prairieville, La.; five sisters, Marge Swaringen of Wright City, Mo., Nita Walker of Denham Springs, La., Kitty Loeh of Villa Grove, Ill., Susie Pantke of Commerce TWP, Mich., and Janet Carillo of Tulsa, Okla.; two brothers, Jim Barclay of Christopher, Ill., and Dave Barclay of Richland, Mont.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and seven dogs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Geneva Ebbs Barclay; his wife, Gwenith Barclay; three sons, Eric, Daniel, and Bryan Sr., Barclay; a daughter, Pamela Barclay; and two brothers, Bill "Smokey" and Dale Barclay.

The funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29 at Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the service Thursday at the funeral home.
