Barbara Darylene Call Brown, 93, of Rigby Idaho, peacefully passed away at Lily & Syringa Assisted Living in Idaho Falls on December 13, 2023.

She was born on November 18, 1930 in Rigby Idaho to Cyril Josiah Call Jr. and Mary LaVern Barker Call. Barbara attended schools in Rigby and graduated from Rigby High School. She also received a Business degree in Utah.

Barbara married the love of her life, Robert Howard Brown on October 12, 1951 in the Idaho Falls Temple.
During her life, she worked as a secretary for Tall Clinic, a legal secretary for T. Harold Lee Law Firm, as a business office manager for Bob Brown Chevrolet and for Dr. Roger Tall.
Barbara was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She faithfully served in many callings such as Stake and Ward Young Women's, Relief Society, Stake and Ward Primary, and as a Temple Worker. Barbara was also a member of the Rigby Study Club for many years.

Barbara loved quilting, canning, cooking, baking, crocheting, sewing, and making porcelain dolls. She created a quilt for each of her grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing cards while drinking Diet Pepsi. Barbara was always quietly serving others.

Barbara is preceded in death by her eternal sweetheart, Robert; her parents; brothers, Fred Call and Brent Call; sisters, Nona Hunter and Audra Moss, and granddaughter, Megan Murdock.
She is survived by her children, Ranae (Wayne) Murdock of Ammon, Julie (Curtis) Reynolds of Rigby, and Ryan H. (Angie) Brown of Rigby. Barbara has 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service for Barbara will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel (101 W. Main St. Rigby ID 83442). A viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Interment will follow the funeral service at Rigby Pioneer Cemetery.
