Mr. Doebbler's funeral was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 22, 1959, in the Brice Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Warren Ellis, pastor of the First Methodist church of Three Rivers, officiated.
Mr. Doebbler came to Live Oak County in 1914; and farmed and ranched in the Mountain View Community until his death.
Surviving Mr. Doebbler are his wife; Ada; two sons, Charles of George West and Ambrose of Asherton; a daughter, Mrs. Roy Woolsey of Tivoli; a brother, Edgar Doebbler of Kerrville; a sister, Mrs. James Floyd of Kerrville; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Comfort, Texas at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
