Grandad Yalden"jim" Lived in an old cottage just above Jane"s cottage At Long Sutton Hampshire.He was a widower for many years .his wife Francis died when the children were young.their names .Percy,Bert,Gladys,Kathleen and Primrose.He had many grandchildren including my brother and I June and Victor.He lived on his own for many years tending his large garden always lots of lovely fresh vegetables.He always had a pet dog by his side.His son Bert lived close by.and called in most days until grandad died suddenly aged 81years.He is buried with his wife Francis in Long Sutton church yard.Some time after dad"bert" had the old cottage pulled down and built a bungalow to for himself and wife Doris to retire into.He worked so hard building the bungalow and working so hard all his life it took its toll and he died suddenly in his retirement year.after awhile mum sold the bungalow and came to live with me. She never new that the bungalow was pulled down later it would have broken her heart as it did mine and Vics Mum and Dad are now with gran and grandad at the church yard and my brother Vic and I visit often Rest in peace my dear family you will never be forgotten dear old villagers who were salt of the earth we miss you so very much.one day we will all be together again.love yo x
