Roy Clinton Black, 81, of 412 Lumpkin St., Texarkana, Tex., died Sunday in a local nursing home.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at East Memorial Chapel with the Rev. David Smith officiating. Graveside services will be at Chapelwood Cemetery under the direction of Veterans of World War I, Barricks (sic) 1119.

He had been a resident of Texarkana for the past 5? years and was a retired railway mail clerk. He was a member of the American Legion; a member of the Veterans of World War I, Barricks (sic) 1119; and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and was a veteran of World War I.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bess Black of Texarkana; a son, Roy Preston Black of Dallas, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Billye Campbell and Mrs. Jerry Tenbrook, both of Texarkana; four brothers, Berty Black and Romey Black, both of California, Clyde Black of Camden, Ark., and Penny Black of Sulphur Springs, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Dovie Hargis of Texarkana; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
