Ralph Dewey Kirkpatrick, 78, of Inez passed away November 26, 2012. He was born October 18, 1934, in Cherokee County, Texas, to the late Clyde and Mary Ellen Kirkpatrick. Mr. Kirkpatrick was a retired electrical engineer from Union Carbide and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the church of Christ for 44 years.

Survivors include his wife, Margie An Kirkpatrick of Inez; sons, Ralph David Kirkpatrick of Dallas, Donald Ray Kirkpatrick of Inez, Ronald Wayne Kirkpatrick of Dallas and Roy Clyde Kirkpatrick of Victoria; sister, Martha Rush of Orange; brother, Clifton Kirkpatrick of Lyndale; 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his sister, Kathryne Davis, and a brother, Ernest Kirkpatrick.

A time of visitation will be held from 7 to 9 pm on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at the Rosewood Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, November 29, 2012, at the Rosewood Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, November 30, 2012, at the Sulphur Springs City Cemetery in Sulphur Springs, Texas.

Honorary pallbearers will be Pat Mercer, Jack Greer, Mike Brown, John Donovan, Roy Lee Adian, Lance Adian, Steven Bordovsky and Luis Garza.
