"Anderson R. Bailey, 73, of 12908 Fifth, Grandview, died Friday at the home. He was born in Gravois Mills, Mo. He was a cab driver for the Jody Cab Co. until he retired. He leaves four sons, Lawrence Bailey of Rialto, Calif., James Bailey of Fontana, Calif., and Robert Bailey and Charles Bailey of Kansas City; a daughter, Mrs. Lillian Gilpin of New Port Richey, Fla.; a brother, Robert Bailey, and a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Carver, both of Houstonia, Mo.; and eight grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Kidwell-Garber Chapel, Versailles, Mo.; burial in Big Rock Cemetery, Barnett, Mo." The Kansas City Star, September 13, 1981
