He was born June 10, 1943 in Pana, Illinois, the son of the late Higgins C. & Ellen Irene Redman Ade. A graduate of Pana High School Class of 1961, Ron served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He had formerly lived in Anderson, Indiana and came back to Pana 20 years ago. He owned & operated Anderson Carpet Cleaning Company.
Ron was a member of the Pana VFW and New Life Community Church, Pana.
He married Janet E. File on October 17, 2002 in Taylorville.
Ron is survived by his wife: Janet Ade, Pana, IL sons: Scott Ade & wife Jennifer, Groveland, FL; Preston Ade & wife Jennifer, Anderson, IN; Clint Ade, Anderson, IN; step son: Dustin Caulk & wife Lisa, Anderson, IN; grandchildren: Brianna Ade, Kylie Ade, Taylor Ade, Emma Ade and Addison Ade; step grandchildren: Zach Caulk, Jordan Caulk, and Logan Caulk; brother: James Ade & wife Anne, Pana; and by his sister: Beverly Kramer & husband Kenneth, Tower Hill, IL.

Honoring Ron's request, his body was donated to medical science.
