Anna M. Richardson, 96, of Burlington, died at 2:50 p.m. Monday, October 22, 2001, at her home.

Born August 15, 1905, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Charles and Theresia Martin Zart. She married Orville Richardson on November 27, 1925, in Burlington. He died February 7, 1987.

Mrs. Richardson was a homemaker and also worked as a nurse's aide at St. Francis Continuation Care Center.

She was a member of Sts. John and Paul Catholic Church. She loved her family, flowers, gardening and reading.

Survivors include one daughter, Darlene Broeker of West Burlington; two sons, Dave Richardson of Loveland, Ohio, and Orville Richardson of West Burlington; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; five great-great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Nancy Leonard of La Jolla, California; and one brother, William Zart of Mesa, Arizona.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today in Lunning Chapel.

The Mass of Christian burial for Mrs. Richardson will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John's Catholic Church, with the Reverend Patrick Hilgendorf officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
