SHREVEPORT, LA - Services celebrating the life of Sarah Elyce Attaway, 24, will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Chapel. Officiating will be Chaplain Dr. Durell Tuberville. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens North, Blanchard, LA.

Visitation will be 12 noon until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

Sarah was born August 24, 1988 in Shreveport, LA and passed away Saturday, November 24, 2012, in a tragic automobile accident in West Monroe, LA. She was a member of Shreveport Community Church. Sarah was a graduate of Evangel Christian Academy, attended LSU-S, and Louisiana Tech majoring in Business. She was active in Evangel Softball where she played short-stop. Sarah won All City, All District, and All State. What a fun time in her life! Sarah had a contagious smile and was looking forward to becoming an Aunt to Isaac. She was an avid football fan, but her most enjoyable times were spent with her family and their trips together. She is now celebrating joy, freedom and peace with Jesus.

Her paternal grandfather, R.C. Attaway, maternal grandfather, Bob Scharf, and cousin, Emily Scharf, preceded Sarah in death. Her beautiful memories will be shared by her parents, Mark and Lynda Scharf Attaway; paternal grandmother, Frances Attaway-Jenisch and husband, Steven; maternal grandmother, Loyce Scharf Trichell and husband, Johnny; sister, Jenna Pettiet and husband, Jason and future nephew Isaac; aunts and uncles, Danny and Laurie McGowan, Ken and Kristy Scharf, Richard and Jenny Brasher, and Randy and Lois Chandler; and numerous cousins.

Honoring Sarah, as pallbearers will be Matt McGowan, Dave Minnis, Austin Brasher, Ricky Brasher, Zach Chandler, and Chase Chandler.

Sarah would be pleased if memorials are made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , P.O. Box 810, Memphis, TN 38101, or Shreveport Community Church, 5720 Buncombe Road, Shreveport, LA 71129.
