The funeral for Gad Albert Wright, who died Saturday at the Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, following an illness of six months, was held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the Dakin Funeral Home. The Rev. Guy Kinney officiated and burial was in Fairview Cemetery. Mr. Wright was born in Rockland, Sullivan County, Jun 13, 1887, the son of Edgar and Amy Hollister Wright. On February 1, 1913, he married Cora VanDusen. Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Nelson Joy; six grandchildren; three brothers, Hiram and Harry Wright, Oneonta, and Frank Wright, Westford; a sister, Miss Rose Wright and several cousins.
