Nancy was a daughter of Eudicy "Dicy" GIBSON. "Dicy" never married but had four children.
Wayne County Deed Book "C". p.41, shows that on May 28, 1834, the said John Gibson (s/o Daniel) made a bill of sale for several slaves to "Ludicy Gibson" whom he identifies as his sister, and by its terms she was to have a life-estate in the slaves and, at her death, were to descend to her four children, viz;, Nancy Raulerson, John Gibson, Margaret Day and Fatima Gibson.
The Census and Marriage Records of Wayne County Georgia show that Nancy was born in 1804 in South Carolina, and married Herod Raulerson February 20, 1826. John was born in 1806 South Carolina , married Martha Parrott, daughter of John Parrott, October 6, 1831, Fatima was born in 1808 in Georgia, and married John Parrott, Jr. January 15 1835; Margaret's date of birth is unknown, and her marriage is not recorded in Wayne County. Dicy Gibson was listed in 1820 of Wayne County, the head of her own house.
