UNGER, Elizabeth Alice "Betty", 99, of Englewood, passed away peacefully after a long and wonderful life, Saturday, November 24, 2012 with her loving family at her side. She was born September 18, 1913.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Earl A. Unger in 1987;
her parents, Leroy C. and Effie (nee Rose) Tice;
brothers and sisters-in-law, Henry and Goldie Unger, Dale and Margaret Unger, Alice and Dwight Lanthrop, Lawrence Unger and Maurice Unger;
son-in-law, Gerald Honious.

Betty is survived by
her three daughters and two sons-in-law, Sondra Honious of Englewood, Trudi and Irvin Nixon of College Corner, Ohio, Earlene and Kenneth Dafler of Englewood;
six grandchildren and their spouses, Robert (Susan) Honious, Jeffrey (Angela) Honious, Beth (Craig) Larner, Debra Nixon, Daniel Nixon, Thomas (Pamela) Dafler;
eight great-grandchildren, Heather, Adam, Andrew, Alex, Amanda and Sarah Honious, Evan and Katie Dafler;
sister-in-law, Lillian Unger;
numerous nieces and nephews.

Betty and Earl owned and operated Rosie's Corner Restaurant in Westwood for over 25 years, and she was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church.

A Celebration of her life at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME ENGELWOOD CHAPEL, 675 West Wenger Road with Pastor George Sidwell and Pastor Thomas Rutherford presiding. Burial in Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria.
