DOKIE D. STRIBLING, 77, DIES IN MYRTLE SPRINGS
Canton, Texas, Sept. 27 - Dokie D. Stribling, 77, retired farmer, died of a heart attack at his home in Myrtle Springs Saturday morning.
He was a native of Callahan County, Mississippi, and was an active worker in church and school activities.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Myrtle Springs Baptist Church with the Revs. Buck Beard and C. A. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Grove Hill Memorial Park in Dallas.
Surving are his wife; five sons, L. L. Stribling and G. F. Stribling of Dallas, Roy Stribling and W. D. Stribling of Chula Vista, Calif., and R. F. Stribling of Paradise Hills, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. S. H. McMillan of Dallas, Mrs. O. C. Ogletree of Mesquite and Mrs. Paul Murrey of Wills Point; three-three grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren.
