Obituary: Alcenior Cargill
Alcenior B. Cargill, 97, of Kansas City, died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1999, at her home.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, at Columbia Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Funeral Service.
Mrs. Cargill was born May 17, 1902, in Columbia to Everett and Ann Edwards Beasley.
She married Raymond Cargill, and he preceded her in death.
She was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church, The Religious Art Guild, The Woman's City Club and a board member of the Children's Cardiac Center Auxiliary at Childrens' Mercy Hospital, St. Luke's Hospital Auxiliary, Joan Davis Auxiliary and Women's Committee Lyric Opera, all in Kansas City.
Survivors include two great-nephews, Walter Andrew Beasley and Jack Beasley Jr., both of Columbia, and a niece, Theadus Beasley of Columbia.
