This is my Great Grandfather.

Jesse, was born in Cantrall, Illinois (the Town of Cantrall was laid out on his fathers farm and named in honor of his father Levi Cantrall). Jesse married Eliza Jane Hume 11/17/1848 at Pitfield, Pike County, Illinois.
Children: Martha Melvina, Rachel, Thomas Jefferson, Anna, Fannie Elizabeth, Mary Jane, Johnny, Jesse, Ellen, Ida May, Joshua, and Cora Bell. also 3 children who died in infancy. Siblings: Ann, Nancy, Stephen, Celindra, Eleanor, Elizabeth, Levi L., Rachel, Charles, Joshua, McDonald, and Fannie.
Parents: Levi Cantrall b.10/1/1787 and Fanny England b.10/2/1792. married 11/30/1809. Jesse Cantrall joined the Illinois Volunteers as a 2nd Lt. Co. C 114 Reg. 9/18/1862, was made a 1st. Lt. April 2, 1863 and Captain 12/25/1863. Mustered out 8/3/1865 at Vicksburg Miss.
