Retired from B&K Auto Supply and former process server for Sedgwick County Court. S/O Samuel Harper Crebs & Minnie M. (Parton) Crebs. He graduated from Mullinville High School, enjoyed courses of science and chemistry. Bill served in the Marines in WWII, 1943-1945, in battles in Guam, Marianas, and Iwo Jima, & the Volcano Islands. He received honorable air discharge and the Good Conduct Medal. After his discharge he served in the National Guard until 1949. He married Ruth "Ruthie" Holmes, July 30, 1949 in Newton, KS.
