SCHMUKER - Peter J Schmuker, sr, aged 70, of Wright township, passed away Sunday morning at St Mary's Hospital. Surviving are his widow, Mrs Rosalie Schmuker; five sons, Charles, Joseph and Peter of Grand Rapids, Albert and Bernard of Wright township; five daughters, Miss Catherine Schmuker at home, Mrs Walter Burrows and Mrs Alfred Platte of Grand Rapids, Mrs Joseph Deuling of Grandville and Mrs Ben Smithe of Wright township; thirty-one grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a brother, Joseph Schmuker of Muskegon; two sisters, Mrs Mary Ryan of Grand Rapids and Sister Catherine Seton of the Sisters of Charity of Fayetteville, Ohio. The deceased was a member of the Holy Name society of St Joseph's church, Wright where funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment St Joseph's cemetery. Mr Schmuker reposes at the farm home. Arrangements by Alt.
