Dr. Branko Marinkovich (1925 - 2006)
Dr. Branko Marinkovich, one of the founders of the Serbian-American Medical and Dental Society, born in Gornji Milanovac in Serbia, married on Sunday, November 15, 1953 to Nadezda "Nada" (Marinkovich) in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. Branko being the third child of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ilija Marinkovich. Passed away at age 81 on Sunday, leaving behind his loving and caring wife Nada, his adoring children: Zoran (Milka) Marinkovich and Dubravka (Howard) Emory; his dearest grandchildren Miroslav, Kristina, Brittney, Natalie, and Nicole; his loving sister Branka Petrovic; his dear niece Dusanka (Milton) Chapmen and her daughters Hether and Deana, as well as numerous other family members and many friends in Serbia and the US. May Dr. Brankos memory be eternal. Pomen (Wake) Service Tuesday, October 3, 2006, 4 to 9 p.m. at Sveta Gora, Serbian Orthodox Funeral Home, 3517 N. Pulaski Road in Chicago. Opelo, (Serbian Orthodox Funeral Service), Wednesday 12 noon at New Gracanica Monastery, Third Lake, Illinois. Interment Most Holy Mother of God Cemetery.
