RUSHFORD, Minn. (Special ) - Martin Swenson, 82, died Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester.
He had been a resident of the Anchor House Nursing Home, Rochester, about three years.
He was born Dec. 16, 1880, at Arehdahl, to A. T. and Bertha Marie Swenson. He married Anna Anderson April 12, 1920. She died in 1949, He was a member of Rushford Lutheran Church. Formerly in the garage business with his brother, Swen, he also had worked for the Minnesota Highway Department. He retired 13 years ago,. ..
Survivors are; Three nephews, Donald Swenson, Rochester, and Lenard, Pontlac, Hi;, whom he and his wife-raised and Arthur Laianb, Minneapolis; twonieces; one brother, Swen, Rushford; one half-brother, Alfred, Rushford, and one sister, Mrs: John (Anna Marie) Reishus, Fargo, N.D. '
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Rushford Lutheran Church, the Rev. M. Eugene Foehringer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Jensen Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday..
