Jean was born October 3, 1924, in Wallace, Arkansas.
She worked many years for the Selective Services Administration and retired from the Social Security Administration. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Texas. She will be missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Lee Curtis, Jr., and Judy, and William C. Curtis and Tina, eight grandchildren, Cristen Wathen and her husband Chris, Aimee Curtis, Ben Curtis and his wife Micayla, Robert Curtis III and his wife Lindsey, Todd Abernathy, Josh Ward and his wife Shawna, Jeremy Tannehill and his wife Melanie, and Jonathan Tannehill and his wife Erin, six great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Carlie, Abigail, Kylie, Charli, Lyric, and many dear friends.
Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Texarkana, Texas, under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
