O'Halloran Rites Set For Thursday

Funeral services for Mrs. Esther M. O'Halloran will be held Thursday, Sept. 13 at 2:00 p.m. at the Reck Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Greenough officiating. Burial will be in the St. Lawrence Cemetery.

Pallbearers are James Bartels, Veryl Sibley, Robert Oliva, Quentin Youngberg, Stephen and Don Sheppard.

Mrs. O'Halloran died Sunday, Sept. 9 at Prairie Good Samaritan Center at the age of 75.

She was born September 16, 1904 in Illinois, the daughter of Elmer and Lura Dehart. She grew up in Illinois and later moved to Miller.

She married Harold Fisher December 24, 1921 in Miller. To this union were born two children, Eugene and Iona.

July 21, 1933 she married Patrick J. O'Halloran in Huron and they were the parents of three children, Thomas LeRoy, Marcella and Patricia. In 1933 she moved to Pierre. Since April, 1978 she has lived at the Prairie Good Samaritan Center.

She was a member of the Royal Neighbors.

She is survived by one son, Eugene Fisher, Ewa Beach, Hawaii; three daughters, Mrs. Lee (Iona) Pilker, Seattle, Mrs. James (Marcella) Laughlin, Mission Viejo, CA and Mrs. Leonard (Patricia) Sheppard, Pierre; 20 grandchildren; two brothers, Harold Dehart and Lawrence Dehart and three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Chapman, Mrs. Ruth Hall and Mrs. Helen Cochran, all of Sullivan, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Patrick and one son, Thomas LeRoy.
