Robert Fessenden
JANESVILLE -- Robert R. Fessenden, 77, died Tuesday (Nov. 21, 1972) in a hospital after a long illness. He worked for the General Motors Assembly Division for 33 years, retiring in 1957. He was a World War I veteran and a member of the Rock County World War I Barracks.
Surviving are his wife, the former Hazel Casey, whom he married in 1928,; a sister, Mrs. Robert Cunningham, Novalo, Calif.; and four brothers: Frank, Niguel, Calif.; Earl and Donald, both of Janesville; and Dr. James Morgan, Milwaukee.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Whitcomb Funeral Home, where friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday. World War I veterans will hold a service at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
