Reverend Jessie James "Timer" Allen, 70, of Stigler died Wednesday, November 21, 2012. He was born at Tucker Knob near Kinta on February 18, 1942 to Alton and Rosie Mozelle (Fowler) Allen. He grew up at Tucker Knob and Kinta where he was educated. He began a career in carpentry and home building. He was married to Nellie Rainbolt on April 5, 1986 and made their home together in Stigler. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and trapping. He also loved to travel. He will be missed by all who knew him. He was a member of the Antioch Pentecostal Church.
Funeral services will 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the Antioch Pentecostal Church with Reverend Roy Campbell officiating. The Eulogist will be Pastor Larry Kerns. Burial will follow at Old Cache Cemetery under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
