One-Car Crash
Kills Boy, 16


CALDWELL (UPI)—A car careened out of control in a curve west or Nampa Tuesday night, killing one teenager and seriously injuring two others.

Canyon, County Sheriff Dale Haile said Howard Wayne Bivins, 16, of Canyon Hill, was killed instantly.

Haile said that all three youths were thrown from the vehicle when it went out of control on Highway 72 about 8 mile west of Nampa.

Taken to the Caldwell Memorial Hospital were Fred Boudreau, 17, and his 16-year-old brother, Hubert. Attendants said today Fred was in critical condition and the other youth was considered "fair."

The car west off a curve and tumbled for hundreds of feet along a ditch and field.
