She was born in Lewis, New York on August 23, 1898, the daughter of John and Phoebe (Hurley) McDougal. Her husband, Fred Sunn, died in 1974.
Survivors included a daughter, Elizabeth Sunn; a brother, Kelley McDougal; and a sister, Lottie Neumaier, all of Elizabethtown; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 1989 at Marvin's Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Burial was in the Lewis Cemetery, Lewis, New York.
