Careful research via Ancestry has revealed that instead, in May of 1903 in Cecil County, MD, Emery Ellis Ward actually married a Bessie May Gallion (b. Aug 1878 in MD, d. 8 Oct 1952 in Perryville, Cecil County, MD), who was in fact the DAUGHTER of an Avarilla J. (Wright) Gallion (101055967) and a William Harry Gallion (101055852).
Emery Ellis Ward (101055767) is shown as dying on 19 Aug 1909 in Harford County, MD, and in the 1910 US Census, "Bessie M. Ward," a Widow with 0 children, Age 31, is listed as living in the household of her parents, William H. Gallion and Avarilla J. Gallion, in Port Deposit, Cecil County, MD.
