Our precious mother, "Eve" Eva M. Bishop, was carried to heaven in God's loving arms Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012.

She was born to Etta and Lewis Daniels in Lima, Ohio, on July 2, 1928. Mom grew up in Ammon, Idaho, and had the lead in high school musicals, was a class officer and led the high school marching band as a baton twirler.

After graduation, she worked for Mountain State Telephone Co. While on a lunch break she met the love of her life, Jack Bishop, a pharmacy student at his uncle's drug store. She enrolled in business classes at Idaho State University. Jack and Eve were married in 1949, and later moved with their young family to Spokane, Wash.

She was active in many social and civic clubs, including the ladies auxiliary of Beta Sigma Phi and was the guardian of Job's Daughters Bethel 64.

She was an outstanding sales rep for the Crescent, Elizabeth's Bridal, as well as Avon, and was a fabulous seamstress, making many beautiful dresses for us.

She enjoyed travel and visited Scotland, Switzerland, Germany, Mexico, Hawaii, Canada and the Caribbean. She spent a lot of time tending to her beautiful garden. Mom lived a healthy life and exercised daily; she loved to dance and was active in the St. Andrews Society and the Spokane Scottish Country Dancers. Eve had many friends and was loved by all who knew her.

She truly loved the Lord, giving him the glory for the abundant life she had and her appreciation for the world and its creation. She was a true witness and a very active member of her church, Audubon Park. She had an everlasting love and dedication to her family and them to her.

She is survived by three daughters, Jackie (Stan) Wackerli, of Jackson Hole, WY, Holly Bishop (Randy Myhre), of Spokane, and Bonnie Reid, of Bend, OR; grandsons, Landon and Lucas Wackerli; granddaughters: Marnie and Tanna Reid; and great-grandson, Braxon, of Boise; all of who will miss her dearly and will strive to carry on her legacy.

The family would especially like to recognize and thank the staff at Riverview Care Center and her church family.

A funeral service was held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at Audubon Park United Methodist, 3908 N. Driscoll Blvd. in Spokane.
