Arthur Benjamin has his blacksmith shop now in harness and ready for pulling—I mean to take in work.

On Feb. 25, 1880, Susan Rebekah Ingram was married to Arthur J. Benjamin. They went to housekeeping on a farm near Arrington, later moving to Kiowa county, where they had resided until he became ill during an epidemic of malaria, returning to Effingham in the Spring of 1888. he died in September that year. Surviving are a son, Chester Benjamin, Effingham: a daughter Mrs. Ethel Armstrong, Everette, Wash.; eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
