Rosa Belle Roberts departed this life from a fractured hip at the age of 78 years, 7 months and 23 days. She was the eldest daughter of Alexander M & Mary Francis Robert. She was united in marriage on 23 Feb 1877 to Oliver Brattin. To this union 3 children were born: Georgia Higgs, Charles Otis & Walter Brattin. She leaves to mourn her passing her children, 9 grchildren, & 8 grgrchildren. She also leaves siblings: T A Roberts, Cleburn, Texas; Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Love, Webb City; G W Roberts & Mrs. Francis Love, Rocky Comfort; Mrs. Ellen Edens, Exeter; & Mrs. Sudie Keeling, Wheaton; Half brothers Charley Roberts, Pratt, KS & Mack Roberts, Joplin; besides a host of other relatives & friends.
She professed faith in Christ 1 Sep 1874 uniting w/the Prosperity Baptist Church at Rocky Comfort. 20 Oct 1874, she later moved her membership to Wheaton Baptist Church to which she remained a faithful & valuable member until her Master called her home.
Her brother James Roberts preceded her early in life.
Burial was under direction of Pogue Funeral Home.
