Douglas Starr Cherry of Terrace Park, died April 30, 2005. Loving husband of 50 years to Anne (nee Saville). Devoted father of Meg (Drew) Smith of St. Louis, MO and Barbara (Bill) Scherick of Xenia, OH and father-in-law of Sarah (nee Patterson) Cherry of Maplewood, NJ Caring grandfather of Barbara, Kevin and Molly Smith, Sarah and Alex Briggs and Emma, Isabel and Jack Cherry.
Doug is also survived by his brother Dr. Arthur C. (Nancy) Cherry of Topeka, K.S. He was preceded in death by his son Douglas MacMillan Cherry. A graduate of Walnut Hills High School and Ohio Wesleyan University, Doug was also a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.
A service celebrating Doug's life was held on Saturday, May 7th at 11 A.M. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 100 Miami Ave., Terrace Park, OH
