Edwin A Tams, brother of James Tams of the Greenwood Pottery Company, died this morning...after a lingering illness. The dead man was secretary of the In and OUt Social Club and also a member of the Brotherhood of the Union and other organizations. For many years he was a foreman in the Greenwood Pottery and he was widely known and well liked among the meant of the trade. About eighteen months ago lung trouble developed and his physical decline had been steady...He was able to be about until a couple of months ago when he was compelled to take to his bed. Mr Tams always took an active interest in politics. He was a staunch Republican and one of the party leaders in the Ninth Ward.
