Mrs. Elizabeth Christen Rowe, age 18 years, succumed [sic] yesterday morning, in a local hospital after a brief illness. The young matron has resided in this city for the past six years and leaves a host of friends to mourn her. Besides her husband and mother, Mrs. Green [sic] is survived by a father and three sisters.
