WATERLOO COURIER December 18, 1972:MRS. GEORGE WILDEBUER---
Cedar Falls: Funeral services for Mrs. George Wildebuer, 85, recently of the Lawn City Nursing Home, and formerly of 628 Fourth Avenue, will be 1:30 pm Wednesday at the Notiger Funeral Home with Reverand Homer Larsen, pastor of the Nazarath Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Friends may call after 9 am Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wildebuer died at the Lawn City Nursing at 1 pm Sunday of complications of age.

She was born Fannie Van Hauen on August 20, 1887 in Parkersburg, the daughter of Harm and Mary Boomgardner Van Hauen. She married George Wildebuer in Parkersburg on March 7, 1910. She was a member of the Parkersburg Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband of 628 Fourth Avenue; one son Bennie of 209 Logan Avenue; two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd Bush of 510 Lincoln Street and Mrs. C. R. Lovall of Route Five; four sisters, Mrs. Amelia Claussen of Taunton, Minn; Mrs. Lizzie DeGroote of Parkersburg; Mrs. Marie Harberts of Sibley and Mrs. Eva DeGrootof Little Rock; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nine step-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, four brothers, one sister, one son, and one great-grandson.
