Margaret R. Ethel Byrd, age 88 of Russellville, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2001 at Shoals Hospital.
Mrs. Byrd lived most of her life in Franklin County and was a member of Spruce Pine Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Neal Jackson Byrd,; a daughter, Wealthie Byrd; sisters, Blue Bell Allen, Pearl Whitfield, and Annie Walker; brothers, Webb King, Edward King, and Johnnie Vick King; and grandchildren, Leon Charles Odom, Billy Odom, and Margaret Shook.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 12, at 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerome Sherrill and Bro. James Abston officiating. Interment was in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
