Chamberlain-John R., 56, of Kelso, died April 25, 1961 at a local hospital. Born Aug. 13, 1905, in Sagamore, Pa., Mr. Chamberlain had been a resident of Kelso for the past 16 years. He was an employe of the Longview Fibre Co. He was a member of the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Kelso. He is survived by his wife, Dora Irene; three sons, Gerald, Melvin, and John, and three daughters, Wanda, Judy and Joan, all at home; and four sisters, Mrs. Lucinda Lewis of Culverton, Ga., Mrs. Bessie Attaway of Chehalis, Mrs. Bertha Larter of Eatonville, and Mrs. Bana Kiser of Chehalis. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Ditlevsen-Moore Chapel with Rev. Paul Hoch officiating. Burial will be in the Cowlitz View Memorial Gardens. The Ditlevsen-Moore Funeral Home is in charge.
