Charles Asa Parker, 78, was laid to rest Saturday afternoon, services being held at the McKee funeral home. Mr. Parker died at the Bemidji Old Folks home Monday night, April 25. Burial took place in the Greenwood cemetery in the family lot, Rev. L. P. Warford of the Presbyterian church officiating.
Mr. Parker was born in New York. He was married at River Falls, Wisconsin to Louisa Aldrich, who preceded him in death, March 1929, in 1892 and came to Bemidji in April, 1903.
He leaves to mourn a sister, Mrs. M. E. Miller of Elmore, California and three stepsons.
