Clara Alvida Bjork was born in Fillmore county near Ong March 12, 1891 at which place she resided until January 18, 1912 when she moved with her parents to Omaha. On March 1, 1916 she was united in holy wedlock to Harry W. Swenson, and since that time has resided at their present place of residence, a few miles south of Shickley. With her husband she united with the M.E. Church of Shickley Feb. 25, 1917, and they have been faithful communicants in this fellowship.
She leaves to mourn her early departure her beloved husband and three children, Willard Walter age 6 years, Lester Harry age 4 years, and Lavette Valora Mary, age 6 days. She is also mourned by her mother, six sisters, and one brother., besides other relatives and a host of friends. Her father has preceded her in death having died May 11, 1922. Mrs. Swenson dies Monday, March 17 her age being 33 years and 5 days.
funeral services were conducted from the home at 1:30 o'clock and from the M.E. Church at 2:30, Rev. C.H. Lind having charge of the services and the sermon was delivered by Rev. E.B. Maxey of Lewiston, a former pastor. Music was furnished by a mixed quartet. Many foral offerings bespeak the esteem and love of a host of relatives and friends.
